"L’abeille bleue is an idea that came from my love for vintage fashion. In high school, I discovered thrift shops and an addiction for old 501s and when I went to college, I became a very passionate vintage treasures hunter. Finding amazing items from Fendi, Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Dior and John Galliano was and still is my hobby. More and more relatives, friends, and people from university started asking me for help to find vintage designer bags or clothes and that is when I knew it would be cool to have a little shop.
Being born in 1995, I immediatly thought of an online shop." Sarah, the owner.
We protect the planet
At first, the idea of the shop was exclusively driven by a passion for vintage that Sarah wanted to share but those last few years, the environmental impact of the fashion industry made her realize how important buying pre-owned is.
Knowing that L’abeille bleue is part of the one and only percentage of clothes that is being recycled every year is bitter sweet. Let’s hope more and more people will start buying second-hand !
